The prairie is an endless horizon surrounded by sky and clouds. At times, the clouds are majestic and it could seem that there are mountains in the distance. Looking out, our minds are grounded as we snap into consciousness in realization of the power of constancy, stillness, and the clear path to greater heights that the mountain symbolizes. Just as easily, we wander away in the dreamlike whimsy of clouds and begin to examine our lives from a higher perspective. The constancy becomes the ephemeral. The stillness becomes change. The path to greater heights makes way to abstract thought and airy ideas. When the firmly rooted and loftily afloat are one, the Cloud Mountain on the endless horizon transforms into the cosmic axis towards new people, new adventures, and endless possibilities.
